There
once was a poke-a-dot frog named Lamont.
Who was always eating what he should not.
Often his search for that taste so rare,
Caused indigestion that he could hardly bear.
|
With
lots of flies, knats, and bugs galore,
The river bank was his grocery store.
A hop of the legs and a flick of the tongue,
And Mr. Lamont had dinner on the gum.
|
Although
this daily diet was nature's fast-food.
Our frog craved a menu with a new attitude.
So his search began for that special gourmet treat.
Anything was better than raw meat, meat, meat. |
Perhaps
some "veggies" of moss and river weed,
Sautéed in butter, would be his new frog feed.
Add a few mushrooms with some garlic on the side,
And Lamont would let taste be his pallet's guide.
